Less than an hour and a half from the beaches of the Côte d’Azur and Nice International Airport, this Southern Alps resort has a fabulous area for numerous sporting activities – hiking, mountain biking on more than 50 km of downhill runs, climbing, golf, horse-riding, and cycle tracks. Professionals are on hand to help you organise your sporting programme: tennis, personalised gym workouts, trampolines, archery, dance, judo, a climbing wall, and even a kids club for 3 – 6 year-olds!

Auron is also a resort which lends itself to relaxation in the heart of an exceptional natural setting with rivers, forests, mountain lakes, swimming pools and ponds. Accommodation – Project

The Southern Alps’ first five-star resort in Auron! Le Monde des Neiges – the Southern Alps’ first five-star resort – will be opening its doors in Auron, in the Mercantour area. The concept combines a top-of-therange location and resort open most of the year. The inauguration of the first phase, including an apartment hotel and several shops, is scheduled in February 2020. Eventually, the five-star resort is set to feature a hotel with 55 rooms, a 1,200m2 spa, kid club and 5 thematic restaurants. Its wood and stone architecture is inspired by the barns of Vallée de la Tinée.
