Winter

Nestled at 1,400 metres, the historic village has old chalets, Lombard architecture, numerous chapels, and sundials. Higher up at 1,600 metres, then 1,800 metres, the more recent hamlets are the fiefdom of sporty types with a trendy, party atmosphere. Puy-Saint-Vincent opens onto a backdrop of larch trees, sheltered from the wind and favourable for good quality snow until late in the season. This is a resort where everything is family friendly. In the winter, visitors will find, in addition to downhill skiing, a snowpark, boardercross, free ride spaces, and 25 km of Nordic ski trails. All wrapped up in a fairytale environment where you might bump into the reclusive chamois.
