Risoul

At the crossroads of three of the most beautiful valleys of the Hautes-Alpes, between the Parc National des Écrins and the Parc Régional Naturel du Queyras, Risoul enjoys the most ideal setting.

Summer

From its height of 1850 m, Risoul offers a panoramic view of the whole Vallée du Guil: the neighboring Place Forte de Montdauphin (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the silhouette of the Massif des Ecrins. And let’s not forget the Lace de Serre-Ponçon (the largest artificial lake in Europe), the jewel of the Hautes-Alpes in summer that’s only 35 km away. Surrounded by a larch forest, the Risoul resort is a vacation destination conducive to contemplation and a change of scene in the summer. Ideal for a recharge or to spend with family or friends, everyone will find their joy thanks to the many activities adapted to the young and old.

A hike for the whole family? It is possible at the Risoul Rando Park, a full-size playground. Mountain biking thrills? With the many descent routes of the Risoul Vtt Camp, there is enough to do! Want to trace the footsteps of champions? The mythical Tour de France passes through here–the rise of Risoul 1850 has become a must for cyclists, amateurs and professionals alike. Get to know the pleasures of whitewater sports? The Durance is only a few kilometers away. Concerning culture and terroir, Risoul appeals with its diversity. Take a detour to the Plan du Phazy thermal hot springs. Then, discover and taste the products of the Chagne farm in all simplicity.
