First stop: the Nice-Etoile mall, located a stone’s throw from the railway station. Here you’ll find a hundred or so stores (international brands, luxury boutiques, sport and home decor shops) welcoming you in a spacious, contemporary setting topped with a vast glass canopy bathing the mall in natural light. Stop off to grab a bite to eat between two forays: Nice-Etoile offers no less than 15 different catering options. If you fancy a sun-soaked terrace, we advise heading to Rue Jean Médecin, Nice’s main thoroughfare situated in a lively pedestrian area. Alternatively, you’ll find a plethora of restaurants and cafés in the nearby Rue de France. After a well-earned rest, push open the doors to the Galeries Lafayette Nice Masséna, a genuine temple of Nice shopping for nearly a century. Spanning 13,000 m2 and five floors, the department store opened its doors in 1916 and is the second-largest Galeries Lafayette in France after the Paris Haussmann branch! Men’s, women’s and children’s fashion, leather goods, jewellery, perfumes and home decor… With 600 brands represented you’re sure to find something for every taste there. Good news: the Galeries Lafayette awaits you in Menton too, on Rue de la République.

Cagnes-sur-Mer, an enlightening shopping experience

At Polygone Riviera

Combining shopping and the magic of the Côte d’Azur, Polygone Riviera in Cagnes-sur-Mer is a unique open-air mall, bathed in sunshine, for the promise of a 100% South of France shopping experience. There’s something to bring a smile to every face here, with no less than 150 fashion and premium stores awaiting you with open arms. But that’s not all: Polygone Riviera was also designed as a hub of contemporary art and inspiration. Keep your eyes peeled… Works by 11 artists, including Ben are Daniel Buren are dotted around here and there, while at the heart of the mall, artist Sacha Sosno‘s astonishing sculpture “The Watcher” surveys your spree. A shopping temple-come-cultural stage, Polygone Riviera remains a delightful living space, inspired by Mediterranean villages and divided into 4 quarters: home decor and nature, eateries and entertainment with a multiplex cinema, an iconic brand and trends quarter and a Designer Gallery. Simply dazzling!

Villeneuve Loubet, a holiday air

At the Pôle Marina 7

A place synonymous with happy days… Located in Villeneuve-Loubet, the Pôle Marina 7 lies along the former Nationale 7 – the mythical South of France holiday route in the Fifties and Sixties.
