After growing up in New Caledonia, Caroline Mary, a young 30-year-old potter, continued her studies in the Var.
After obtaining a Master's degree at the Beaux-Arts de Toulon, she worked as a visual artist and exhibited between Toulon, Marseille and Avignon for two years. The desire to move towards the craft having germinated during her art studies, she resumed training in ceramics in Vallauris afterwards.
In order to open her own workshop in the best conditions, she was followed by the BGE, an organization that supports the creation of companies and has a national network.
Living in Toulon, she had heard about the Métiers d'Art operation in Ollioules and wanted to join this dynamic. She benefited from the rental of a room renovated by the city.

Working with stoneware, she creates mainly common pottery: dishes, glasses, flower pots, plates, bowls, etc.
From her New Caledonian childhood, she has kept the memory of the engraved bamboo technique, but also of the imprints left by figures carved in tree fern trunks, or the brush movements that punctuate some of her creations.
All these creations are dishwasher safe and she encourages visitors to treat themselves to unique pieces that will enhance their dishes or floral arrangements.
Caroline Mary also offers workshops for children during the school vacations.
