  • Having built metal boats for twenty-seven years, I decided to change course...
    After the sea, the land.
I am thus fulfilling my childhood dream and can finally, on a daily basis, translate my imagination freely into matter.

  • The choice of ceramics as a means of expression came about somewhat by chance and corresponds completely to my sensitivity.

The choice of ceramics as a means of expression came about somewhat by chance and corresponds completely to my sensitivity.

In order to assimilate the different techniques of working with clay, I trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts du feu in Vallauris for three years.

My artistic approach is dedicated to an unconditional love of clay. A docile companion, but sometimes unpredictable, who lets herself be kneaded, caressed, transformed, but who does not accept everything and knows how to take us back often. I never tire of admiring her raw, pure beauty, without artifice. I respect it and let my inspiration flow through its veins. Patiently. To express myself, I use raw clay glazed with the Japanese technique of raku alone or combined with wood, stone and metal.

My sculptures are abstract or figurative. They evoke life, travel, joy in a universe at the border of the temporal and the spiritual... During my numerous exhibitions I usually accompany my work with poetic texts that verbally translate what inspires me. In this way I also mix enamel with words to give happiness to the world around me.

Isn't this the vocation of every artist!
