Destroyed several times by earthquakes in previous centuries, this picturesque village on its promontory overlooks the Vésubie Valley.
A mountain village stretching in two groups of buildings on a promontory, it has a few older tall houses, broad series of steps, sculpted portals and a superb fountain dated 1866.
Sights: Saint-Pons church; Sainte-Claire chapel (15th c); Notre-Dame-des-Anges church in Pélasque; Saint-Arnoux church and ruins of the castle (13th-c) in Loda; Pont du Martinet (bridge); Fort de Gordolon; Notre-Dame-de-la-Balma sanctuary; Poggioli Museum; Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes chapel.
