Faustine and Léonore met in 2012 and their paths subsequently crossed several times during their studies. A friendly relationship quickly develops. In 2020, they begin to perform as a duo in the South of France. Their collaboration is a success and continues between concerts and artist residencies.

Faustine Charles: started playing the cello at the age of 5 in Marseille. She will then graduate from the Paris Boulogne-Billancourt Higher Education Center (2017) and the Lausanne University of Music (2019). She also studied improvisation with Ibrahim Maalouf for 2 years. She performs both solo and in various chamber music groups. Since January 2020, she has been a cello teacher at the Regional Conservatory of Lyon.

Léonore Védie: cellist from an early age, she graduated from the Bordeaux Aquitaine Higher Education Center (2017) and the Lausanne University of Music (2019). Her career has led her to work with many orchestras (Bordeaux, Toulouse, Pau) and join the tour of singer Imany "Voodoo Cello" (2021-2024). She also trained as a chamber musician by participating in Proquartet with the Quatuor Voce (2012). She was able to perfect her skills with great musicians and conductors: Eric Picard, Benjamin Carat, Cyrille Lacrouts, Mickael Jurowski, François-Xavier Roth. She is also a professor at the Regional Conservatory of Tours.
