Léo Glassdream - Glass-blower

Shops, Art craftsmen, Stained-glass artist / master glassmaker in Biot

  • Glass sculptor artist in the village of Biot

  • Between science fiction and tribal arts, Leo Glassdream's glass creations are developed in two stages. When hot, the sculpting process allows him to create expressions, maintaining minimalist forms, while seeking to push the limits of the material. In a second time, while cold, and according to the form obtained, a story is constructed, a story made of signs, and drawn forms inspired by the Maori tattoo culture. Each mask thus has its own personality, its own tale.

Born in 1988 in Toul (Lorraine), Léo has been involved in the world of glass since his childhood. At the age of 12, he acquired the technical basis with his father. Aged 16, despite his passion for glass, he decided to take another professional path: sheet metal worker. Ten years later, his passion took over ... He then decides to learn new techniques by assisting two internationally renowned artists. His universe is a balance between movement and expression. He likes to carve and model metals and glass, and then associate them by finding a harmony. His sculptures are the products of his own imagination and his inspirations every day. He represents sport, nature, openness to other cultures and know-how from different horizons. He's perfectionist and he enjoys challenges.
