To celebrate Earth Day, we propose a Deep Time Walk for the Oceans on Saturday 30 April 2022.
This initiative is a proposal inspired by and connected to the international Deep Time Walk community. For the past ten years, this approach has been opening up wonderful time-spaces in relation to the Great History of Life & the crucial ecological issues of today.

This initiative is a proposal inspired by and connected to the international Deep Time Walk community. For the past ten years, this approach has been opening up wonderful time-spaces in relation to the Great History of Life & the crucial ecological issues of today.
The approach is simple: through a relaxing sensory experience of guided walking and storytelling of 4.5km, we walk through the history of the creation of the Earth, the oceans and meet the people who honour the ocean as their primary source. This walk allows us to take a step back from this formidable resource that is essential to our life on earth.
A collective experience, instructive and poetic at the same time, to become deeply aware of our place on Earth, of the impact of humanity on the Ocean. This walk allows us to take action for the living world by collecting waste (one of the main causes of pollution).
Open to all to form a group of 5 to 20 walkers for the planet.
We will be two facilitators to guide you in this experience.
Sophie Luzzi, sophrologist, passionate about ecology.
Agnès Aubert, facilitator in collective intelligence on sustainable projects.
Our walk will take place along the discovery trail, starting from the beach of Anse de Ste Croix in La Couronne.
We will have moments of silence, moments of sharing, and moments of learning, which will be an opportunity to revisit our common history.
The story begins like this: "Place your hand over your heart and follow this pulse back in time to the very first fire at the beginning of time, the birth of the universe 13.7 billion years ago. You were there. I was there ....... "
