The mill of Vallefont is located near the Verdon, at the bottom of the meadows. Like the mill near Le Pesquier, it dates from the 17th century.
Under the Old Regime, the same farmer operated both mills. The Vallefont mill is powered by the water that turns the millstone. This system of mills in series is particularly ingenious in exploiting the energy of the water. The Vallefont mill ceased to operate at the beginning of the 19th century.
