    Located at the foot of the Lure Mountain, Mallefougasse is a village living at the rhythm of the seasons. Illuminated by nice sunny days, the night is studded with stars of a pure sky. This small village consists of houses made of dry stones, narrow streets crossed by alleys, covered passages called "andrônes".

    Church of Saint Jean Baptiste
    With its beautiful square bell tower, this church consists of an apse and two apsidal chapels which communicate with the nave. Saint-John the Baptist's Church houses very beautiful frescoes from the 17th century hidden under paintings from the 19th century. Saint-John the Baptist's Church which was listed in the inventory of Ancient Monuments in 1997 is a rare specimen of the first Romanesque art. A bull delivered by Pope Géiase in 1118 registered this church as one of the priories of the Benedictine abbey of Saint-André de Villeneuve lès Avignon.
