Omar Rodriguez-Sanmartín is the resident artist at La Station. In the 'castle' of Espace à vendre, he will present a protean display of drawings and sculptures.
The artist works with objects that are grafted, coupled and combined to form unusual arrangements, monster-like forms that are not frightening because they simply show other possibilities, new but ultimately very familiar configurations.
A process of chimerization takes place at the time of the studio work, during the dissection and then the assembly of these forms, which become as if potentially alive, sometimes implying a projection into a use.
