It's September 4, 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the start of a new school year marked by the end of school segregation. In September 1957, nine black students were enrolled at Little Rock Central High School, which until then had been reserved for whites only. It could have been a dream, but it turned out to be a nightmare.
