Subtle, complex and harmonious, the wines of Château Sainte Marguerite invite you to enjoy them. You will be able to taste and appreciate the refinement of our classified growth wines.
It all began in 1929 on the foundations of a property that had been cultivated with vines since antiquity and which in 1955 obtained the Cru Classé label in recognition of the authenticity and quality of its products. When Brigitte and Jean-Pierre Fayard discovered Château Sainte-Marguerite in 1977, it was an immediate crush and the beginning of an adventure that would be carried out with the family.
Over the years, each of the children became involved in the project and put their skills at the service of the estate in all sectors of activity (viticulture, oenology, design, commerce, etc.).
The Fayard family is a living force driven by enthusiasm, rigour, perseverance and passion, always striving for excellence.
While history and tradition are central to the Fayard family's concerns, over the last 10 years they have managed to develop the estate and production without compromising on quality. Jean-Pierre Fayard confides to us: "You have to keep what is good in the past without remaining static, being both innovative and listening to consumers. To be visionary, because some of our actions are only visible in the long term, such as organic farming for example".
The wines are the result of a constant search for excellence and the mastery of an exceptional terroir. Subtle and harmonious, a symphony of tastes to sublimate your moments of pleasure and high gastronomy.
