Montgenèvre

Montgenèvre, the most Italian of the French winter resorts, gets colourful in the summer, when the living is easy and the nature is in full bloom.

Winter

Beneath a shining sun and with the charm and feel of la Dolce Vita, Montgenèvre offers many ways to have a winter sports holiday. Whether you are here as a couple, family, group of friends or with your tribe, you will soon feel the charms of a cosy village at 1,860 metres of altitude. Go downhill across the border on the Vialattea, shiver with excitement on the Monty Express luge run, and relax or play at the Durancia waterpark. You can have a night-time adventure on a skidoo to a restaurant in the Italian Alps, follow the call of the wild in your snowshoes tracing Jack London’s footsteps, enjoy an evening in a tepee, or take off above the wide-open terrain in a heli-ski. Montgenèvre is all that and more!

Discover Montgenèvre

Summer

Whether you are a relentless explorer, a couch potato, an adrenalin junky, a sports pro, or a jazz aficionado, Montgenèvre offers you the chance to live life the way you want. All you have to do is imagine yourself on this balcony that overlooks the world, soothed from the early hours of the morning by the gentle warmth of the sun under a royal blue sky. On your left, enjoy the energy and colours of Italy’s Piedmont region. On your right, the immense Écrins mountains stretch into the distance with the Vauban fortifications of this Unesco World Heritage site at their feet. Montgenèvre is the guardian of this link between France and Italy.
