Névache
At 190 km2, Névache is the biggest community in the department and the most spread out in France. Registered since 1992 as a protected natural site, this small mountain village is at the heart of the Vallée de la Clarée. Névache is a friendly resort close to the Alpine ski resorts of Briançon, Serre-Chevalier and Montgenèvre. Here, life is good. Breathe the pure air, enjoy the slew of activities, discover the village’s heritage, farmers, and craft workers, or relax in the village’s wellness areas.
Cervières
10 km from Briançon and Serre Chevalier, Cervières is located at the foot of the Col de l’Izoard, at the edge of Le Queyras. This small, rural, high-mountain village has kept its authenticity, character and farming traditions and, in winter, remaining a cross-country skiing resort on a human scale.
Villar d’Arène
Villar d’Arène is an authentic village surrounded by magnificent mountains: the Meije, the Galibier, the Agneaux, and the Trois Evêchés.
Near the Parc National des Écrins, this resort is perfectly suited to learning to ski in winter. The free rope-tow allows kids to make their first descents in complete safety. Plus, the smallest snowpark in Europe will open here for the first time this winter!
