The gentle warmth of spring envelops Ubaye valley and as the snow melts, the bubbling river becomes a playground for thrills & spills fans! From April to June, treat yourself to a fun and sporty whitewater rafting expedition in the capable hands of your guide Guillaume. Kick off the afternoon with a trip down the Class III rapids and spend the night in a teepee – the promise of an experience to remember! On the way back, take it up a notch with an exhilarating Class IV river descent. This experience promises an energetic weekend in the dream decor of Ubaye valley, a little corner of paradise reputed as one of the world’s top whitewater hotspots. Get paddling!

      Return to calm when summer comes around

      Easy does it at the ecologic base

      Head to Méolans-Revel on the banks of the Ubaye river – the departure point for the famous and very popular Martinet-Lauzet Classique race. Set down your bags at the little eco-friendly base, built with larch wood from the valley. Guillaume will accompany you to the bivouac venue for an easy-going session, perfect for getting into the swing of things! Enjoy playing Robinson Crusoe as you prepare your camp, then sit back and contemplate the beautiful mountain colours changing in pace with the warm summer evening. The following morning, savour a champion’s breakfast before plunging into the rapids and paddling to the magnificent Gorges du Lauzet-Ubaye at around midday. Wind up in style with a dive into the stunning lake nestling amid summits reflected to infinity in sparkling blue waters…

      A night in a teepee: unique and magical!

      Look back on your day with your head in the stars

      Set off for a unique adventure in wild countryside! Spend a night with friends or loved ones at the heart of the wide open spaces of Ubaye in a « home-from-home » bivouac. Fitted with an ultra-resistant roof, your teepee promises to keep you cosy and warm whatever the weather. In the evening, you can have fun preparing a plancha grill to share, or opt for the all-in package including local speciality tasting… Simply unforgettable. Gaze in awe as the sunset sets the horizon ablaze in the magnificent mountain setting of the Alpes de Haute Provence. And finally, settle down comfortably in your hammock to contemplate the starry night skies. Magical!
