This is a plateau of vast wilderness with characteristic picturesque villages from Haute-Provence, Romanesque churches and chapels, large old farms, primarily sheep-raising and multi-crop operations, where everything comes together to make up a very beautiful rural landscap.

The Albion plateau is a top destination for speleology. Its karstic relief is due to the seepage of rain water flowing into the Albion River, water that emerges in the famous resurgence of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse.
A beautiful natural region located between Mont-Ventoux, Lure Mountain, and the Vaucluse Hills.
