Pond of Vaccarès

From August to April, these ponds welcome tens of thousands of water birds, coming from the north of Europe to spend the bad season in the Camargue (ducks, coots and grebes mainly). In April, terns from Africa come to nest in colonies, along with gulls, seagulls and avocets sedentary.
