The Plantier de Costebelle is a refuge for the relict population of Hermann's tortoises, a species threatened by invasive urban development and forest fires.
Albéric Lugagne, a committed turtle conservationist, takes visitors on a tour of the park. Fascinated by his subject and nourished by the many contacts he has with naturalists, he tackles every theme: habitat, feeding, reproduction, hibernation, while raising awareness of the fragility of their survival.
Albéric is always available to answer questions, and the exchanges with him make for a highly instructive outing.
