Via ferrata are routes fitted out with ladders and cables that run along cliffs or rock faces. These "vertigo hikes", supervised by a high mountain guide, will allow you to walk between earth and sky. Atmosphere guaranteed!
There's no shortage of via ferrata in and around Serre Chevalier. Long or short, in the mountains or in the valley, easy or more difficult, taking up a few hours or a whole day. Some are specially adapted for youngsters aged 6 and over. Supervised by a mountain guide, you'll learn the safety rules for this activity and how to progress roped up.
