Mireille Toulon has been immersed in the world of Haute-Couture and fine leather goods for as long as she can remember: her mother was a great dressmaker and her grandmother ran a leather bag shop.
When she stopped studying law at university, she seized the opportunity to start working in leather goods. In love with the region in which she finds her sources of inspiration, she decided to settle in Ollioules and create her Atelier Vol 707.
Today, Mireille Toulon divides her time between her creations and passing on her knowledge to future generations.
For her creations, she chooses, out of conviction and respect for the environment, to recycle part of her raw materials, which allows her to create without negatively impacting the environment and animals, while making her creations financially accessible. She even recycles the scraps by making jewellery.
All the items she creates have a long story to tell.
Today she is giving Vol 707 a new dimension by offering prototyping for young designers and by offering real training to both amateurs and future leather craftsmen.
