Environmental education association based in Mouriès

Founded in 1989, the Chemin Faisan association aims to raise awareness, promote appreciation and encourage respect for the environment among as wide an audience as possible.

Activities offered by the Chemin Faisan association:
▪ Discovering the environment and eco-citizenship for the whole family
▪ Walks in the Alpilles in partnership with the Alpilles Regional Nature Park
▪ Environmental and sustainable development education activities in schools (from nursery to secondary school): classroom or field trips, lasting from half a day to several days throughout the year (approved by the French Ministry of Education – Aix-Marseille Academy)

Collective childcare (approved by the Town Hall) for children aged 4 to 13:
▪ Every first week of the autumn, winter and spring holidays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
▪ Throughout July, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

The association also participates in various events: Nature Festival, Associations Day, Provence Farmers' Fair, Nature Clean-up Day, etc.

A pioneer in environmental education, the Chemin Faisan association has been actively involved for over 30 years. Its mission? To educate the general public about eco-responsibility. Learn to better understand, respect and protect nature.
Born in Mouriès, France's 1st olive-growing commune, this dynamic local organization perpetuates its commitment through a program of nature hikes, events and school activities.
Accompanied by an environmental educator, these family outings offer optimal conditions for discovering the natural heritage of the Alpilles. The olive tree, from the tree to the mill, is one of the emblematic themes depicting the territory's identity. A visit not to be missed!
