The Ostau de Provença cultural showcase - All through the year, the Oustau de Prouvènço organizes Provençal language lessons, exhibitions, conferences, concerts and dances... It is also a hive of activity, where groups working to preserve Provençal culture and promoting the regional language fine-tune their services so that the creations on offer to the public are always innovative and of a high quality. Next door to the Occitan Language Orality Centre media library, the Oustau de Prouvènço extends a warm welcome to visitors with, of course, age-old and still thriving Provençal conviviality. And not forgetting the wide range of events all through the year: the Tambourin Festival, Saint John's Eve, the Cantejadas, the Blessing of Calissons, the Fête Mistralienne, the Santons Fair, the Christmas concert at the Tambourin Academy, the Bravade Calendale, the Pastorale Maurel, the Veillées Calendales and the nativity scene, among others.

The Provençal Affairs Department is part of the city's Culture department. Its main tasks are to:
welcome the public, help to develop and promote Provençal cultural policy, organise Provençal language lessons, develop and manage partnerships with Provençal associations, supervise and take part in setting up cultural events, organise visits to elementary and infants schools by speakers on regional language and culture, provide bilingual signs for towns and streets, manage the schedule for activities on the premises, carry out research and translation work, produce communications materials, promote initiatives and find funding.
