Perched on a mound in the heart of the Haut Verdon valley, Beauvezer, whose name means "beautiful to look at", was an important wool-spinning center. A few buildings still stand, bearing witness to this flourishing period in the valley's economy.
Beautiful hikes starting from the village with the spectacular gorges de Saint Pierre to the typical hamlet of Villars-Heyssier. Mountain bike trails. Fishing in the lakeside village of Roufleyran or in whitewater.
You can also visit the Maison de produits de Pays, which showcases the flavours and scents of our valleys, as well as local artists and craftspeople.
