It is dedicated to Saint Gregory of Nazianzus
It already existed in 1630 when, during the plague, the priest of Montclar, Jean Chabot, baptised his niece on the 2nd of July. A writing on the frontage, to the right of the entrance, indicates the date of 1738 and the name of André Hermitte: it is likely a restoration. A school teacher of the neighbourhood is known by that name, mentioned in 1726 and 1733 paid by the community in 1734 “for making a cross”. The chapel was still being useed in 1783 by the eleven families of the village.
