Necropolis created in 1824 through the acquisition of private land adjoining two existing cemeteries: the Israelite and Protestant cemeteries. The Saint-Pierre cemetery, covering 7 hectares, gave its name to the district in which it is located.
Saint-Pierre cemetery is situated just a short walk from Aix-en-Provence town centre. It has 2 annexes: Carré 9 is located on Traverse Saint-Pierre and Carré 10 on Avenue des Déportés de la Résistance Aixoise.

This necropolis was created in 1824 through the acquisition of private lands adjoining two existing cemeteries: the Jewish cemetery and the Protestant cemetery. Saint-Pierre cemetery, which extends over seven hectares, has given its name to the district in which it is located.
