Property of important families, since the Lord of Forbin in the 15th century, the Domaine de La Castille has kept the religious vocation it was given in 1929 and now houses a Seminar.
Since 1979, the estate has been set up as a Foundation of Public Utility: its missions are mainly focused on welcoming groups, families and elderly, training adults, housing retired priests, organising events... These missions are supported by vineyard and the sale of the Domaine products. The park is open to the public and is home to the Ecopark de la Castille, a treetop adventure course for all.
