Dating from the 18th century, the church is caracterized by a plan which surprises by its vast, complex interior and indicates late to end Baroque. Certain decorative features are Rococo.
Behind a baroque façade divided into two floors, punctuated by Doric and Ionic pilasters and topped by a triangular pediment, the church adopts a Greek cross plan. The vast central bay is covered with a dome on pendentives. Between the arms of the cross, square spaces, also covered with caps, play the role of side aisles. The previous Gothic choir has been preserved. An abundance of quality Baroque furniture is on display.
