In 1734, an existing monument was remodeled after deliberation by the town council (estimate awarded on September 8, 1734). It was a circular basin with an internal diameter of 2.75 m, and a brick-paved base. A column rose 1.25 m above the rim, and at the top of this column a stone reservoir distributed water via four weirs.
