Fountains and bread ovens are very present in the villages of the Guillestrois and allow you to better understand the organization of life in the past. Once indispensable, they are now part of our vernacular heritage.
Very pretty pink marble fountain with its successive tubs which, in the past, had a very different use than the pleasure of the eyes! Before the adduction of drinking water which in some mountain hamlets arrived very late - in Fournet in 1965 - the fountain was used both for water supply, washing clothes but also for fire defense.
