The entrance to the village of Brenon, hidden behind the hill, is necessarily by the road to the hamlet of Les Henry and the fountain, in the outpost, marks the village.

In 1900, the Municipality of Brenon built this fountain at the entrance of the hamlet of Les Henry. It was only intended to supply the few dwellings in the hamlet, making it practically a private fountain.
