From the esplanade of the Monastery where you can contemplate Saorge "village in the sky" hanging in ampitheatre from the restanques, enter a world of serenity: the baroque Franciscan convent, with the church and its terraced garden in a green valley.
At the gateway to the Mercantour, the monastery of Saorge overlooks the Roya gorges. A remarkable testimony of Franciscan baroque, the monastery buildings contain exceptional painted decorations. With an orchard and a vegetable garden, surrounded by the green landscapes of the valley, the site enjoys an omnipresent nature, source of serenity.
