A large scale model of the Roman city of Forum Iulii, built in 2006, greets you at the entrance to the museum. The collections are presented in four rooms dating from the 13th and 16th centuries of the Fréjus episcopal group.
Housed in the rooms of the Episcopal Group of Fréjus, the Archaeological Museum evokes the ancient glory of the "Pompeii Provençale".
A large model of the Forum Julii introduces visitors to the fascinating history of the Roman city. Among the jewels of the collection is the magnificent two-headed Hermes in white marble, the famous emblem of Fréjus.
