The steel mill, called 'Le Martinet', from the 13th and 14th century, and listed a Historic Monument, is one of the rare examples in France of a tool from the Middle Ages that is still in operation.
Le Martinet is a heavy hammer whose shaft pivots on an oscillating access thanks to the driving force of water. On the first floor is recreation of a local rural kitchen (1900). The Laouza oil mill, listed in the inventory of Historic Monuments, is still in operation. The production of olive oil in times gone by was carried out between December and March.
