The museum traces the history of these exceptional troops, born in the 17th century, who for four centuries have carried the colors of France to the four corners of the world.
This army museum turns the pages of a long and double history: that of the Troupes de Marine and that of overseas France. From the first marine infantry troop created by Richelieu to the present day, the Troupes de Marine museum covers nearly four centuries. More than 120 display cases provide a rich and illustrated discourse to shed light on these aspects of military history.
