The National Necropolis of Luynes, located a few kilometers from Aix-en-Provence, is the site of the military cemetery that houses the 11,424 fallen soldiers of the First and Second World Wars.
In the Luynes National Necropolis, a few miles away from Aix-en-Provence, is the military cemetery that is the resting place for 11,424 soldiers who died in the World Wars.

The National Necropolis was built between 1966 and 1969. It is maintained by the PSGHLMN national war memorials association, the National War Veterans association and the War Victims Office.
