Located near the Port, this 10,000m2 Mediterranean garden open on the sea offer a wide range of exceptional trees, two of the most remarkable being the wild date palm (Phoenix zeylanica) and Agathis.
This public garden is located on the former property of Viscount Vigier.
From the end of the 19th century, Viscount Vigier had acclimatised many exotic plants to this garden and it was here that a Phoenix canariensis was planted for the first time in France in 1864. A large Agathis robusta and old Livistonia chinensis can still be seen today.
