Only a few elevations remain of this building built of limestone rubble. We can still see the location of the old windows.
This sawmill operated from the end of the 19th century until 1945. It occupied 40 people and treated the pines of the mountain of Brouis.
Nowadays, there are remains of the old sawmill infrastructure, consisting of the ruins of a group of stone buildings, turbines, canals, including an old water supply canal that originated in the Artuby downstream of the gorge.
It is located in a natural circus surrounded by vigorous wooded reliefs which dominates it to the south of more than 100 meters and to the north of 600 meters (culminating point of the Brouis 1 592 m) at the entrance of the gorges of the Artuby.
