Walking tour to discover the village of Grillon

Grillon used to mark the Northern boundary of the Papal States. Its 12th century ramparts are dominated by two towers : the belfry with its wrought iron campanile, and the church bell tower with its octogonal stone spire. At the foot of the walls encircling the old village lies the typically Provençal Place de la Bourgade, with its fountain in the shade of hundred-year-old plane trees.
