Located in Aix-en-Provence on the Schuman campus of Aix-Marseille University, the Théâtre Antoine Vitez is open to a wide audience and offers resolutely contemporary programming, in constant dialogue with young artists.
Théâtre Antoine Vitez hosts an annual themed schedule with fifteen professional companies, two amateur theatre festivals and university productions by theatre and music students. The essentially theatre-based schedule focuses on contemporary playwrights and designs.
Alongside the Pratik Teatr association, it hosts a dozen amateur workshops from November to June on the Aix and Marseille campuses. All workshops explore productions performed in the Trois jours et plus Festival in June.
