The "Aux docks d'Arles" gallery is located in the Méjan district, the city's historic center.
Its foundations and walls tell the story of a thousand years of history, but also of more recent times, from the Arc de Constantin, no longer in existence, to the remains of the medieval convent of the Frères Prêcheurs, to the early 20th-century grocery store "Aux Docks d'Arles", whose name the gallery bears. Opened in July 2016, the exhibition space is managed by a handful of volunteers, professionals and enthusiasts, grouped together in an association under the French law of 1901. Every year, it presents the works of painters, sculptors, visual artists and photographers, with the aim of promoting and defending the work of these artists from all horizons...
