Col Saint Ange, 05300 Barret-sur-Méouge
This south facing crag is excellent for lower grade climbers. There are 25 routes spread over this gently inclining slab. Grades are between 4 and 5 and are great for practicing your footwork.
The scenery is magnificent, to the north you can see the cliffs of Orpierre, the Dévoluy massif and all of the Val de Méouge. The ideal time to climb here is in the spring or autumn.
The names of the routes were imaginatively thought up by primary school children in Eourres.

Rope : an 80m rope is needed for the last four routes on the right of the grag "Bouc Thym, Pas Piqué des Vers, Papi Lion et Serre d'Aigle". You are advised to tie a knot in the end of your rope.

Topo-guides "Orpierre, grimper dans les Pays du Buëch" and "Grimper dans le Val de Méouge" for sale at the Tourist Offices of Sisteron Buëch.
