A route to discover the wonders of the Durance Valley. It is a rolling and varied circuit mainly on tracks which will allow you to discover the ornithological reserve of Haute-Provence, panoramas of the Durance and charming villages.
The route follows the path around the lake to Volonne, then climbs up to the Bastide Blanche on the heights of Volonne. After the crest passage, the descent begins towards the village of Mirabeau, then a track goes back up to the Col des Pénitents in the commune of L'Escale. The route continues on the Napoléon path to the Château de Malijai. Further on, at the roundabout, take the track that leads under the rocks of the Pénitents des Mées.
