From the high peaks of Ubaye, through the lakes and wide-open spaces of Mercantour and the Vallée des Merveilles, you'll plunge towards the Mediterranean via a multitude of valleys, passes and ancient mountain villages...
But make no mistake, the surrounding relief and deep valleys make this a physically demanding...
