"Stay with the Archaeologists",Come and discover the Valley of Marvels

This project is also linked to actions in support of local producers and craftsmen in the choice of suppliers: the food provided during the stay will be mostly local and organic in respect of sustainable development and a minimum carbon impact.
Programme of the stay :
Day 1: Welcome of the participants around 10 am with a visit to the Musée des Merveilles and then installation on the Picopié site (transfer on foot) with an immersion in prehistory. Friendly meal under the stars.
2nd day: Experimental archaeology workshop supervised by a prehistory specialist (lighting a fire in the prehistoric way, reconstruction of the Terra Amata hut)
Day 3: Departure for a hike to the archaeological site of the Vallée des Merveilles and visit of the rock engravings supervised by a medium mountain guide and archaeologist. Night and meal at the Merveilles refuge.
Day 4: Visit of the second part of the rock engravings and explanations on the stakes of the cohabitation between the wild fauna and the man, shepherd at Les Merveilles. Return to Tende and debriefing on the experience.

The reception is open to all: adults, young people (over 10 years old), young people from social backgrounds in difficulty accompanied by an educator.
