Taulane Castle Golf Course

The Château de Taulane, a splendid residence dating back to the XVIIIth century, houses a 4-star hotel, two restaurants and a Spa and wellness area in the heart of a privileged natural area, at an altitude of 1,000 meters. This destination between the French Riviera and Provence Verte is also very popular with golfers, who can discover a magnificent 18-hole course in an enchanting setting.

The 18-hole course

Signed by the architect Gary Player, this 18-hole course is the first realization of this great champion in France. In the heart of a preserved and majestic nature, with the wooded mountains and the blue sky of Provence as a backdrop, this 6,300-meter course covers 120 hectares. It is punctuated by seven lakes. You will appreciate the diversity of the holes, which call for a wide variety of games.

Private or group lessons as well as training courses are organized to introduce you to golf or to perfect your technique. You can also opt for the accompanied course, choosing to play the 18 holes or to concentrate on a 9-hole course.

You can complete your golfer’s equipment thanks to the Pro Shop which offers many accessories from the biggest brands.

A charming 4-star hotel

The rooms and suites of the “Château de Taulane” welcome you in a chic and cosy atmosphere. The restaurants

The Restaurant La Marquise de Lisle offers a market cuisine, with Provencal flavors, which matches the seasons and the chef’s inspirations. The classic recipes are rediscovered thanks to a touch of modernity and inventiveness as surprising as it is appealing. The room, with its exposed beams and floor tiles, welcomes you in a chic and friendly atmosphere, both elegant and warm. Both in the room and on the terrace, the view of the Verdon mountains is breathtaking.

The Trattoria da Mario offers tasty Italian dishes and a daytime restaurant service, on site or to take away. Located at the finish of holes 9 and 18, the sunny terrace of the Trattoria da Mario invites golfers to take a gourmet break.

The wellness area

The Spa and wellness area is dedicated to your relaxation with an indoor swimming pool, a hammam, a sauna and a jacuzzi. Treatments and messages are offered by appointment. You can book your day at the Spa and choose your treatments by contacting the Taulane castle by email or by phone. The elegant and cosy decor is part of a soothing and relaxing experience.
