Jean-Philippe and Dominique Girod have been in business for over 30 years, initially raising goats, but have now turned to lamb and ewe's milk cheese.
- The Bergerie du Gourdan is an adventure that began over 30 years ago! Initially, there were just a few dairy goats grazing near the Col de Besseuges. Later, ewes were introduced for meat production, followed by dairy ewes. Today, Dominique and Jean-Philippe raise a mixed herd of over 400 head. They have opted for organic farming and demonstrate their commitment by offering a range of products bearing the "Valeurs parc naturel régional" label. Tomes de brebis, yoghurts, fresh and mature cheeses, as well as lamb, sausages and salami, all have the authentic taste of the Préalpes d'Azur.
