Mill built in 1856 by the Marquis de Gaudemaris. From the traditional stone millstones, presses and scourtins, the mill is now equipped with ultramodern machinery. Our olive oils have often won awards at the Concours Général de Paris.
Drawing on its anchorage in the olive growing tradition of Baumes de Venise, Le Moulin à Huile La Balméenne has managed to adapt to the realities of its time. While it is now equipped with modern facilities to process the harvests of 800 producers, it has retained and has on display heritage items bearing witness to 70 years of production.
